Anticholinergic Drugs Linked to Dementia

A study of the long-term impact of anticholinergic drugs, a class of drugs commonly prescribed as antidepressants and incontinence medications, has found their use is associated with increased risk of dementia, even when taken 20 years before diagnosis of cognitive impairment.  Click here for further details.

Is placebo response in antidepressant trials rising or not? A reanalysis of datasets to conclude this long-lasting controversy

It had long been believed that placebo response rates in antidepressant trials have been increasing and that they were responsible for rising numbers of so-called failed antidepressant trials.
